On October 14, the World Chess Championship among 8, 10 and 12-year-old boys and girls will start in Egypt.
Idman.biz informs that 12 chess players will represent Azerbaijan in the competition in which 80 countries are represented.
These are Khagan Ahmed, Pasham Alizade, Safa Hummetov, Atilla Orman, Muhammad Kazimzade, Muslim Shiraliyev, Saadat Bashirli, Asnad Valiyeva, Inci Alakbarli, Maryam Abbaszade, Asnad Bakhshizade and Mehriban Ahmadli.
The Azerbaijani delegation will be headed by international grandmaster Farid Abbasov.
The World Championship will end on October 27.
