Azerbaijani boxer was qualified for the semi-finals of the European Championship

Azerbaijani boxer Marjona Savriyeva reached the semi-finals of the European Championship.

Idman.biz reports that Savriyeva (50 kg) achieved this in the Continental Championship among U-22 boxers held in Budva, Montenegro.

She defeated Irina Vinaradava (Belarus) in the 1/4 finals with the score of 3:0 (30:26, 28:28, 30:26, 30:26, 28:28). By advancing to the semi-finals, Marjona got at least a bronze medal for herself.

The boxer will fight with Russian Arina Vostrikova on the way to the final. The fight will be held on November 17.
