A cooperation meeting was held between the Azerbaijan Boxing Federation (ABF) and the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Sports Organizations Public Union (AHITA).
The meeting was attended by ABF Secretary General Naghi Safarov and AHITA Director Tural Gasimov, along with their respective delegations, Idman.biz reports.
During the discussions, the parties exchanged views on the development of boxing, the implementation of joint sports projects, the organization of championships and tournaments, and increasing youth interest in the sport.
Naghi Safarov emphasized that the Azerbaijan Boxing Federation is taking significant steps to further develop and popularize boxing in the country. According to him, cooperation with AHITA will create new opportunities for both athletes and young people.
Tural Gasimov highlighted the importance of sports like boxing, which strengthen both physical and moral well-being, in promoting a healthy lifestyle. He noted that the joint projects with the federation would play a key role in youth development and fostering sports values.
