Former player of the National Basketball Association (NBA), the best new player of the North American league in the 2013/2014 season, Michael Carter-Williams, held an amateur fight based on boxing rules during the Broad Street Brawl charity event held in New York.

In a three-round match, 33-year-old famous basketball player defeated American Sam Khativ by unanimous decision of the referees, Idman.biz reports.

Carter-Williams, who ended his career in 2023, played in the NBA for the Philadelphia Sixers, Milwaukee Bucks, Chicago Bulls, Charlotte Hornets, Houston Rockets and Orlando Magic. After the fight, the athlete said that this was not his first and last appearance in the ring and that he would soon have his next fight.
