The final list of the teams that will participate in the Baku stage of the Women's 3x3 basketball series has been announced.
16 teams have approved their application to participate in the tournament, Idman.biz reports.
Only the Azerbaijani national team will represent Azerbaijan in the competition. Baku Flames club will not play in the tournament in Baku, although it is on the initial list.
One more team, as Azerbaijani representative, left the list of participants. The national team of Singapore will not come to Azerbaijan either.
These two teams will be replaced by the German Düsseldorf ZOOS and the Spanish Logrono Central club. The teams of the Netherlands, France, Spain, Poland, Italy, Portugal, Ukraine, the Philippines, Ireland and Austria will also participate in the Baku stage.
China will be represented in the tournament by the U-24 national team. Japan's Maebashi Flovlish and Hungary's Gyor clubs will also be among the participants.
Baku round will be held on August 17-18.
