Azerbaijan’s junior badminton players have triumphed at an international tournament in Venezuela, claiming three gold medals across different categories.
Ulvi Huseynov started his campaign from the Round of 16 in the boys’ singles event and defeated all his opponents to win gold, Idman.biz reports.
In the girls’ singles, Leyla Jamalzade also emerged victorious, securing the top podium spot.
The duo went on to claim another gold medal in the mixed doubles, as the Ulvi Huseynov – Leyla Jamalzade team finished first in their category.
