The team competitions in badminton have started at the Gabala Olympic Sports Complex as part of the III CIS Games.
Idman.biz reports that based on the results of the first day, Azerbaijan’s main team, consisting of Ulvi Huseynov, Leyla Jamalzade, Ali Gozalov, Amirkhan Imanov, Nazrin Mehralizade, and Yagmur Guliyeva, took second place in Group “A” and advanced to the semifinals.
Finishing second in the group stage, our team will face the leader of Group “B” in the semifinals. The match will start at 16:00.
