The XlX round of the Azerbaijani Premier League was marked by an early red card.
Idman.biz reports that Turan Tovuz player Faig Hajiyev was punished in the 9th minute of the away match against Kapaz.
He has made a record of the season. Prior to that, the earliest red card was recorded in the 6th round match between Zira and Sumgayit (1:0). Pierre Zebli left the stadium the 11th minute. Faig was also the Azerbaijani football player who received the earliest red card since 2008, when the Premier League was held under the PFL flag. Generally, Hajiyev is the person who received the 3rd earliest red card in the Premier League, organized under the PFL flag. In the 2017/18 season, two foreign football players were sent off sooner.
