Turan Tovuz are preparing to strengthen their squad with a new signing.
İdman.Biz reports, citing sport1.az, that the Tovuz-based club are close to reaching an agreement with former Qarabağ player Yassine Benzia.
The 31-year-old attacking midfielder is reportedly open to returning to the Azerbaijan Premier League.
Only minor details remain to be agreed between the parties before the contract can be signed.
Benzia played for Qarabağ from 2023 to 2025. During his spell with the Aghdam club, the Algeria international made 104 official appearances, scoring 28 goals and providing 25 assists.
