Mahir Emreli's yellow card overturned in Poland

The yellow card shown to Azerbaijan international Mahir Emreli, who plays for Polish club Raków Częstochowa, has been overturned.

İdman.Biz reports that Raków press officer Damian Markowski announced the decision.

The League Commission cancelled the yellow cards shown to Emreli and Fran Tudor during Raków's match against Lech.

Meanwhile, another Raków player, Lamine Diaby-Fadiga, has been handed a three-match suspension following the red card he received against Górnik.

Raków have endured a difficult start to the new season. The Częstochowa side have lost all six of their matches in the Ekstraklasa and are yet to collect a point. The club have also been eliminated from European competition.

Emreli has been one of the team's most productive players this season, scoring six goals and providing one assist in 12 appearances across all competitions.

Raków's new head coach Tomasz Kaczmarek will take charge of the team for the first time against Motor on September 11.
