Kazakh midfielder Omar Muradov may continue his football career in Azerbaijan.
According to İdman.Biz, citing the Kazakh media, the 18-year-old player is currently in negotiations with Baku-based club Neftchi. If an agreement is reached, Muradov will join the club’s youth team.
The source reports that the talks have reached an advanced stage, and the Azerbaijani club has already gathered information about the player from teams in Kazakhstan. It is also noted that Astana and Kaysar have shown interest in Muradov.
Born in Almaty, Muradov began his football journey with Kairat-02 before moving to Sumqayit at the age of 15, where he became the Azerbaijani U17 champion. He mainly plays as a number 10 and stands out for his accurate passing and good vision, and is also a candidate for Kazakhstan’s youth national team.
