Qarabag goalkeeper Mateusz Kochalski is not currently planning a move to Borussia Dortmund.
According to Idman.Biz, citing Polish media, the Aghdam-based club has already set the transfer fee for the goalkeeper. The amount is reported to be 7 million euros.
It is noted that while Borussia Dortmund is financially capable of paying this sum, a potential transfer is not considered a priority at the moment for either the club or the player himself.
Kochalski reportedly feels comfortable in Azerbaijan and intends to remain with Qarabağ at least until the end of the 2025/2026 season. He has firmly established himself as the team’s first-choice goalkeeper, regularly features in the Champions League, and the club is realistically competing for a place in the playoff stage.
At Borussia Dortmund, the main goalkeeper position belongs to Switzerland international Gregor Kobel. It is emphasized that Kobel, especially during the preparation period for the World Cup, has no intention of giving up his spot.
It is also reported that Kochalski takes a very considered approach to his career and does not rush into decisions unless offers come from Europe’s top five leagues.
