She highly valued the importance of the Khankendi - Baku ultramarathon, organized for the first time under the slogan Run Forward Proudly. Nurullayeva said that the start of the race from the historical land is a new history itself: "I feel very happy as a citizen of Azerbaijan. I thank all the athletes, especially today's winners, and everyone who suffered, and I wish them success. Under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, we liberated our lands from occupation. We managed to do this at the cost of the lives and blood of our martyrs and veterans. Most importantly, without the unity and national will of our people, we would not be able to witness the marathon from Khankendi to Baku today, the historic day."
It should be noted that the participants of the ultramarathon reached Baku after crossing the Khankendi - Yevlakh (83 km), Yevlakh - Ujar (84 km), Ujar - Hajigabul (88 km), Hajigabul - Gobustan (70 km) and Gobustan - Baku (55 km) stages. A total of 64 athletes competed in the 380 km ultramarathon, and 17 of them reached the finish line. Among the athletes were representatives of Turkiye, Mexico, and Moldova.
