An international athletics tournament will be held in Baku.
Idman.biz reports that the Baku international winter competition dedicated to the memory of Honored coach Aleksandr Antipov will take place on February 2-3.
The tournament will be jointly organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan Athletics Federation and the Athletics club. Athletes from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia's Sakha Republic (Yakutia) will compete.
The competition will be a license for the Paris-2024 Summer Olympic Games. The program of the tournament includes 60 m running, long jump and triple jump among adults.
In the U-18 age group, athletes will compete in the long jump and 60-distance run.
It should be noted that the competition will be held at the Republican Olympic Center.
