On November 2, Baku will host a charity event titled “Victory Run,” dedicated to the 5th anniversary of Azerbaijan’s magnificent victory in the Patriotic War.
According to Idman.Biz, the traditional event, organized annually by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, will take place under the slogan “Forward with Pride.” The aim of the event is to respectfully commemorate Azerbaijan’s historic victory and to highlight the unity, heroism, and unwavering determination of the Azerbaijani people.
A minimum donation of 20 AZN will be required during registration. All collected funds will be donated to the “YASHAT” Foundation.
Participants will start the run at the “Seven Beauties” fountain in the Baku Seaside National Park. The course covers a distance of 10 km, and the first participants to reach the finish line will be declared winners and awarded prizes.
Additionally, a fan zone will operate on November 1–2, offering visitors various entertainment activities and festive experiences.
The run will begin at 10:00 on November 2. Anyone aged 16 and above can register by October 30 at 12:00 via the link: events.smartscoring.com/marathon. Registration will automatically close once the participant limit is reached.
Confirmed participants will receive an email with a confirmation letter and participant guide. Between October 15–30, from 09:00 to 20:00, they can collect their race number at the 1st floor of BEGOC Business Center by presenting an ID and proof of payment.
It is worth noting that the “Victory Run” has been held annually since 2021.
