The Professional Development Program for Football Coaches, jointly implemented by the Azerbaijan Sports Academy and Qarabag FK Academy, has successfully concluded.
As reported by İdman.Biz, Qarabag FK CEO Emrah Celikel addressed the certificate presentation ceremony marking the completion of the initiative.
The club official described the occasion as an important milestone and emphasized that improving the professional qualifications of academy coaches remains one of Qarabag's key priorities.
"Today is a significant day for us. Our goal is to ensure the professional development of coaches working at our academy. The Azerbaijan Sports Academy has provided us with tremendous support in this regard, offering a high-quality, professional educational program," Celikel said.
He also stressed the importance of applying scientific methods to youth football development, noting that the academy's mission extends beyond producing professional players.
"We are not simply developing footballers. A scientific approach must be applied throughout this process. Our primary goal is to raise the children at our academy to become good citizens who contribute to society. Naturally, talented youngsters have a greater chance of becoming professional footballers in the future," he explained.
Celikel emphasized that coaches working directly with young players carry the greatest responsibility in this process.
"The main responsibility in this important process rests with the coaches who work directly with these children. That is precisely why it is essential for our coaches to continuously acquire new knowledge and improve their professional skills," he added.
The initiative reflects Qarabag's commitment to strengthening its youth development system through modern coaching methods, professional education and cooperation with academic institutions.
Special certificates are to be presented to coaches who successfully completed the program.
