Harry Kane believes Bayern are close to Champions League glory

Bayern Munich forward Harry Kane believes his team is close to winning the UEFA Champions League and is determined to make the 2026/27 campaign a successful one.

As reported by İdman.Biz, the England captain told TNT Sports that Bayern's elimination last season showed how small the margins are at the highest level of European football.

"Yes, we are really close. I think last year it came down to the finest margins. There is no shame in going out to a team (PSG) that has won the Champions League two years in a row.

This season, we are telling ourselves that this has to be our year. We need to find a way to make it happen", Kane said.

Bayern will face Arsenal, Real Betis, Bodø/Glimt and Slavia Prague at home in the 2026/27 Champions League league phase. Their away fixtures will be against Atletico Madrid, Manchester United, Lille and Viking.

The Munich side will be aiming to add another European title to their history, having last won the Champions League in 2020. Kane, who joined Bayern in 2023, remains one of the team's key attacking figures as the club pursues its continental ambitions.
