Liverpool FC has announced the release of a book dedicated to former forward Diogo Jota, who tragically lost his life in a road accident in Spain last year.
As reported by İdman.Biz, the club shared the announcement on its official social media channels. The book, titled "Forever in Our Hearts," explores Jota's life, football career and lasting legacy, celebrating his achievements and the impact he made both on and off the pitch.
Jota died on July 3, 2025, at the age of 28, in a car accident on the A-52 motorway near Palacios de Sanabria in Spain's Zamora province. His younger brother, Andre Silva, who played professionally for Portuguese club Penafiel, was also killed in the tragedy. Both were traveling in a Lamborghini when the accident occurred.
The Portuguese international joined Liverpool from Wolverhampton Wanderers in September 2020 and became an important part of the team's attacking lineup. During his five seasons at Anfield, he helped the Reds win the Premier League, FA Cup and two English League Cups.
Jota also represented Portugal internationally, winning the UEFA Nations League twice, in 2019 and 2025.
The publication serves as another tribute to a player whose contributions to Liverpool and Portuguese football continue to be remembered by teammates, supporters and the wider football community.
