The 2026 summer transfer window will close today across Europe's leading football leagues.
As reported by İdman.Biz, September 1 is the final day of the summer transfer period in the English Premier League, Spanish La Liga, Italian Serie A, German Bundesliga and French Ligue 1.
The transfer window in Ligue 1 and the Bundesliga will close at 20:00 local time, while Serie A's deadline is also set for 20:00. La Liga clubs will be able to register new players until midnight.
The transfer market will remain open longer in England. Premier League clubs have until 23:00 local time to complete their business, corresponding to 02:00 Baku time on September 2.
Premier League clubs that reach an agreement before the deadline can receive an additional two hours to complete the remaining paperwork if they submit a special "deal sheet" on time. International transfers must also comply with FIFA's Transfer Matching System (TMS) requirements.
Clubs in Türkiye have more time to strengthen their squads. According to the Turkish Football Federation's schedule, the summer transfer and registration period in the Süper Lig will close on September 4.
The summer transfer window in Azerbaijan will remain open even longer. Azerbaijan Premier League clubs can register new players until 23:59 on September 10.
