Fenerbahce have announced their separation from Brazilian midfielder Fred.
According to İdman.Biz, the Istanbul club informed the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) about the transfer of the 32-year-old.
Fred will continue his career in his homeland with Atletico Mineiro.
The Brazilian midfielder has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract with his new club, with an option to extend the deal for a further season.
Fred joined Fenerbahce from Manchester United in 2023 for €9.74 million. He made 129 appearances for the Istanbul club, scoring 12 goals and providing 21 assists.
The Brazilian won the Turkish Super Cup with Fenerbahce but did not win the league title during his time at the club.
