The Vice President of the Azerbaijan Weightlifting Federation, Firdovsi Umudov, who traveled to Poland for the European Championship, held a meeting with Mohammed Jaloud, President of the International Weightlifting Federation.

Several proposals were made to expand inter-federation cooperation. Umudov emphasized the importance of support from the International Weightlifting Federation, noting that the Azerbaijan Weightlifting Federation operates under a long-term strategic plan. The conversation also covered future competitions, referee and coaching seminars, organizational issues, and the setup of training academies.
At the end of the meeting, Firdovsi Umudov presented a special gift from the Azerbaijan Weightlifting Federation to Mohammed Jaloud.
