Idman.biz informs that the President of the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) Aleksandar Boricic said this at the press conference dedicated to the start of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Championship.
He said that his meetings with the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation were short, but successful: "I thank the Azerbaijan Olympic Committee for supporting the AVF in its future work. I thank the President of the AVF for his wonderful energy. We have come together after a long time. We today we talked together about the spread of volleyball in schools, the interest of young people in volleyball. In a few years, we implemented new projects. Big federations will help the weaker ones and work together with them."
According to him, other federations are in Baku to support Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation. There is great concern from the state."
It should be noted that "Azerrail" will face "Absheron" in the opening match of the new season of the Azerbaijan Championship. The match to be held in "Baku Sports Palace" will start at 17:00.
