"Azerrail" club of women's volleyball players has sent the preliminary order form to the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV).
Idman.biz reports that the Baku representative, who will represent Azerbaijan in the Challenge Cup, has so far included the names of 10 players in the participation application.
2 of them are ball distributors, 2 are blockers, 2 are liberos and 4 are forwards.
Experienced Cengiz Akarcesme will coach the team in the new season. He will be assisted by Mikhail Solovyov and Vladimir Larkin.
Ball distributors: 16. Raziya Aliyeva, 9. Gabrielle Benda
Blockers: 4. Taurie Magee, 11. Aynur Imanova
Forwards: 2. Khanim Jalilova, 3. Aisha Alismanova, 8. Ana-Maria Berdila, 22. Ulker Karimova
Liberos: 10. Asiyat Abuyeva, Beyaz Guliyeva
It should be noted that Azerrail will play against Ukrainian Balta in the 1/32 final of the Challenge Cup. Both matches will be in Baku.
