The European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) has assigned another Azerbaijani specialist to an international match.
According to Idman.Biz, the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation (AVF) announced that international referee Fuad Aghayev has been appointed as the head referee for the CEV Cup women’s match between PAOK (Greece) and OTP Banka Branik (Slovenia). Polish referee Piotr Krol will serve as the second referee for the game.
The match will take place on December 3 in Greece.
It is worth noting that earlier, Zohrab Gozalbeyli, head of the AVF Communications Department, was appointed as a supervisor for the CEV Cup Round of 16 match between Turkiye’s Galatasaray and Portugal’s Porto.

Zohrab Gozalbayli, head of the Communications Department of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation (AVF), has been appointed as a supervisor for an international competition.
According to Idman.Biz, the AVF announced that Gozalbayli will oversee the referees in the Round of 32 of the CEV Cup for women, during the match between Turkiye’s “Galatasaray” and Portugal’s “Porto.”
The game will take place on December 3 in Istanbul, with Italian referee Mauro Carlo Goitre and Finnish referee Marko Oravainen officiating.
