The name of the new Secretary General of the Azerbaijan Taekwondo Federation (ATF) has been announced.
Aygul Abdullayeva has been appointed to the position, Idman.biz reports.
She replaces Rustam Bagirli, who parted ways with the ATF some time ago.
Abdullayeva has already held an introductory meeting in her new role. On behalf of the Azerbaijan Taekwondo Federation, she introduced the coaching staff of the national taekwondo team for the Deaflympics to the team. Elmir Farajov will serve as the head coach of the team, while Rauf Rahimov will take on the role of senior coach.
Following the meeting, the national Deaflympics team held its first official training session.
