Members of Azerbaijan’s youth taekwondo team have departed for Skopje, North Macedonia, to participate in the 18th European Youth Summer Olympic Festival (EYOF).
The team, led by head coach Rashad Mamedov and coach Farida Azizova, will be represented by eight taekwondo athletes, Idman.biz reports.
The roster includes Mehdi Budagli (48 kg), Aydin Suleymanov (55 kg), Ziya Hasanli (63 kg), Yunis Huseynov (73 kg), Eljan Aliyev (+73 kg), Khuraman Javadzade (44 kg), Humay Dadashova (49 kg), and Sehri Jalalova (55 kg).
Taekwondo is included in the European Youth Summer Olympic Festival program for the first time.
