This was stated by Azerbaijani taekwondo athlete Khuraman Javadzade, who will participate in the 18th European Youth Summer Olympic Festival (EYOF) to be held in North Macedonia and Croatia.
Competing in the 44 kg weight category, the athlete shared her thoughts before the competition with the official website of the National Olympic Committee: "Training camps and the competitions I participated in throughout the year have allowed me to be in excellent form ahead of the festival. I will do my best to represent my country with dignity and fight hard for a medal at this prestigious event."
Taekwondo is included in the EYOF program for the first time. Azerbaijan will be represented by 5 boys and 3 girls at the taekwondo competitions held at the Skopje University of Physical Education.
