Azerbaijani taekwondo athlete Gashim Magomedov has been awarded the “Fair Play Spirit” prize.
The athlete was honored at the Gala Awards Ceremony of the European Fair Play Movement (EFPM), Idman.biz reports.
At the gala evening held in Olympia, Greece, individuals, athletes, and sports organizations who exemplify honesty, respect, and solidarity in sports were recognized. Nominated by the National Olympic Committee of Azerbaijan, Paris 2024 silver medalist Magomedov received the EFPM’s “Fair Play Spirit” award for his exemplary behavior and commitment to ethical values in sport.
