The conference of the Azerbaijan Swimming Federation (ASF) has been held.

The conference was attended by Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov, ASF President Zaur Aliyev, representatives of the Ministry of Science and Education, and other officials.
The federation president first provided an overview of the organization’s strategy. He stated their intention to develop swimming in Azerbaijan, spark interest in the sport, and make it accessible to a wider audience, while also aiming to achieve greater success.
Later, ASF’s new logo was unveiled.
Following that, Farid Gayibov delivered a speech. He noted the important work being done by the federation and wished them success in their endeavors. He expressed confidence in the further development of swimming in Azerbaijan.
Deputy Minister of Science and Education Firudin Gurbanov spoke about the benefits of this sport and its positive impact on individuals, wishing success to the federation's leadership. He emphasized the importance of developing swimming, especially creating opportunities for children. He also stressed the significance of opening and putting new swimming pools into operation.
Afterward, the federation’s development strategy was presented. ASF Secretary General Ogtay Atayev spoke about the work done and innovations over the past year. He mentioned the implementation of a salary and reward system and announced the appointment of a medical advisor to the federation. He noted that athletes have been provided with uniforms.
The secretary general also added that the federation’s website has been updated and that the organization is actively represented on social media.
