The Ganja Cup 2026 swimming competition has been held with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and organised by the Azerbaijan Swimming Federation (ASF).
İdman.Biz reports, citing the Ministry of Youth and Sports, that around 150 athletes with a minimum of 150 World Aquatics ranking points took part in the tournament at the Ganja Sports Palace.
The participants included representatives of the Paralympic, Deaflympic and Special Olympics movements.
Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov, head of the Ganja City Executive Authority Niyazi Bayramov, ASF president Zaur Aliyev and other officials attended the winners’ award ceremony.
The Ganja Cup was held for the second time, with teams from Belarus and Georgia taking part for the first time this year.
