On July 21, Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov held his 21st meeting with representatives of sports federations at the Azerbaijan Sports Academy.
During the meeting, the minister greeted the participants and provided detailed information about the recent developments in the sports sector, the achievements made, and the tasks ahead, Idman.biz reports.
The event included discussions on preparations for the 3rd CIS Games to be held in Azerbaijan this year and the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games scheduled in Saudi Arabia. Additionally, updates were shared on the Centralized Registry System, preparations for the 34th Summer Olympic Games to be held in Los Angeles in 2028, and upcoming work at the National Institute of Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation.
The meeting also covered regional visits by the sports community, featured several presentations, and involved an exchange of views on reports regarding the social media activity of federations and other related matters.
