Azerbaijan ranks 11th in the medal standings at the World University Games held in Germany's Rhine-Ruhr region.
According to special correspondent of Idman.biz in Germany, the team has earned two gold and one silver medal in group rhythmic gymnastics, thanks to performances by Laman Alimuradova, Gullu Aghalarzade, Darya Sorokina, Kamilla Aliyeva, and Yelyzaveta Luzan.
Azerbaijan is ahead of countries such as Spain, France, Brazil, Canada, Turkiye, Georgia, Denmark, and many others in the standings.
The USA leads the medal table (17 gold, 9 silver, 17 bronze), followed by China in second place (10-13-3), and South Korea in third (10-5-11).
