Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency (AMADA) continues its activities to strengthen the fight against doping in the country and educate the sports community in this area.
Within this framework, the next seminar was organized for teenage and young athletes of Azerbaijan Table Tennis Federation, Idman.biz reports.
The main goal of the seminar was to inform table tennis players about anti-doping rules, the rights and obligations of athletes, as well as strategies for combating doping.
The participants of the event were explained in detail about prohibited substances and methods, the doping control process, the role of athletes in this process and the mechanisms for managing results. It was emphasized that in some cases, athletes can unknowingly or carelessly take drugs containing prohibited substances. For this reason, each athlete should carefully check the composition of the drugs used.
The seminar was held in an interactive format, and participants had the opportunity to address their questions directly to specialists.
