"The competition was organized on a special holiday, as well as the 100th anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev. Various competitions are held in different regions of Azerbaijan, and today we have gathered at the Shamakhi Olympic Complex. It is a great pleasure to be here on a holiday and to organize such a tournament. A meeting of the sports ministers of the states was held. Thanks to the leadership of the Badminton Federation, we decided to organize meetings of ministers in competitions of this level. The discussion of the organization of such competitions continues. Already this year, the tournaments of Turkic-speaking countries have become the majority," said Farid Gayibov.
It should be noted that badminton players representing Azerbaijan, Turkiye, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan have determined the winners in 5 categories in the competition held at the Shamakhi Sports Olympic Complex.
