AS Monaco midfielder Paul Pogba has surprised the sports world by acquiring a stake in Al-Habub — the first professional camel racing team in history.
According to İdman.Biz, the World Cup champion admitted that his interest in this traditional sport began after watching YouTube videos, and now he dreams of one day owning the most expensive camel in the world.
The French footballer has never shied away from public attention or bold career choices. Yet his latest move has become a true sensation: from Champions League pitches he has shifted his attention to the racetracks of the Middle East. Pogba has joined Al-Habub as a strategic investor, with the project aiming to modernize and popularize camel racing.

Pogba explained that he began studying this world in depth through online research:
"I’ve watched a lot of camel racing videos on YouTube, and in my free time I kept researching, trying to understand the techniques and strategies," he said.
The midfielder also emphasized that he is inspired by the dedication of athletes and teams involved in this sport:
"Sport is sport. It requires courage, sacrifice, and teamwork. Whether it’s football, camel racing, or boxing — the foundations are similar."
