Azerbaijan’s Minister of Youth and Sports, Farid Gayibov, attended the World Anti-Doping Conference 2025 in Busan, South Korea.

The minister addressed global challenges in anti-doping policy during his speech and shared information about Azerbaijan’s measures in the field, international cooperation activities, and future priorities.
Farid Gayibov also spoke about mass sporting events hosted by Azerbaijan, the promotion of a healthy lifestyle (“sport lifestyle”), and other successful projects.
During the visit, Minister Farid Gayibov held meetings with South Korea’s Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Chae Hwi-Young, World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) President Witold Banka, and Busan Mayor Park Heong-Joon.
Bilateral cooperation issues were discussed during the meetings.
