Today, the Minister of Youth and Sports, Farid Gayibov, met with Azerbaijani athletes who will compete at the upcoming UFC event in Baku.
The minister received Rafael Fiziev, Nazim Sadykhov, and Tofiq Musayev, Idman.biz reports.
Farid Gayibov wished the athletes success in the fights scheduled for June 21. In turn, the athletes provided updates on their preparations for the competition.
On June 21, Azerbaijan will host its first-ever UFC Fight Night. The event, which will attract worldwide attention, will feature three Azerbaijani fighters, Rafael Fiziev, Nazim Sadykhov, and Tofiq Musayev. This will also mark Tofiq’s UFC debut.
