37-year-old UFC Hall of Famer and former lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov shared a message with his team, emphasizing that there should be no room for those who are lazy in training, Idman.Biz reports.
"If you are not ready to give your all in training, stay at home. We do not welcome laziness in the team. We are here to be the best in the world," Nurmagomedov wrote on his social media page.
Recall that Khabib fought his last match at UFC 254 on October 24, 2020, on Yas Island near Abu Dhabi, UAE. His opponent was the interim UFC lightweight champion, American Justin Gaethje. The fight ended with Khabib winning via a chokehold in the second round. This victory marked the 29th win of Nurmagomedov’s career. After the fight, Khabib announced his retirement from MMA.
