The athlete, who finished the competition with a silver medal, talked about the way to the final and his defeat in the decisive match: "Until the final, I defeated the bronze medalist of the last World Championship from Spain, the World Champion from Egypt. I came face to face with quite experienced athletes. I made tactical mistakes in the final and lost. Together with my coach Anar Allahverdiyev, we prepared very well for this competition. Everything went as we wanted. Except for the gold medal... I am waiting for a performance in the European Championship."
It should be noted that the 67 kg athlete lost to Egyptian Ahmed Lotfi in the final with a score of 2:3.
