"Black Sea" and "Caspian Sea" karate open tournament has been held in Absheron Olympic Sports Complex.
Idman.biz reports that AKF Vice President Rahman Hatamov, General Secretary Gabil Sayadov, Chairman of the Judicial Committee Ogtay Mammadov, head of the club Renad Aliyev and other honored guests participated in the competition held by the Azerbaijan Karate Organization, one of the clubs of the National Karate Federation under the Azerbaijan Karate Federation.
About 700 athletes from 52 clubs in different age categories participated in the competition. 18 teams participated in the tournament from regions.
After the official opening ceremony of the competition, decisive meetings took place. At the end, the winners of the tournament were awarded diplomas and medals.
It should be noted that all federations under the Azerbaijan Karate Federation will be represented at the World Championships this year.
