Today, 51 years have passed since the establishment of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation.
Idman.biz reports that the federation has played an important role in the development of judo in Azerbaijan.
The main responsibility of the institution was to develop and popularize judo throughout the country, to train young talents, to instill the main values of judo to the general public, and to ensure the triumphant performances of the Azerbaijani judo players in the international arena.
The Azerbaijan Judo Federation expressed its deep gratitude to all who contributed to the development of judo in the last 51 years - coaches, judges, athletes, medical personnel, administrative workers, as well as all partners.
