The European Judo Championship in Montpellier has ended.
Idman.biz reports that the Azerbaijan national team finished the tournament with two gold medals.
As part of the national team, Hidayat Heydarov (73 kg) and Zelim Kotsoyev (100 kg) finished all their matches with victory and took a place on the top of the podium. As a result, the Azerbaijani team finished the European Championship in the 2nd place overall. The list was headed by France (5-0-4). Serbia (1-1-0) took the third place. The Georgian team (0-4-0) has lost four finals.
It should be noted that athletes from 28 countries won medals in the European Championship.
