Vugar Talibov held his first match against Jahongir Majidov (Tajikistan). The winning athlete has faced Mikhail Igolnikov (AIN) in the 1/8 finals. After defeating his opponent, Talibov lost to Tristani Mosakhlishvili (Spain).
Vugar, who participated in the consolation match, could not win here either. He lost the duel with Giorgi Jabniashvili (Georgia).
Elcan Hajiyev faced Daniel Trinidad from Spain in the 1/16 finals. The member of the national team, who registered the match, tested his strength against Austrian Thomas Scharfetter in his next match. However, since the opponent was superior, the Azerbaijani athlet ended his journey in the "Grand Slam" in the 1/8 finals.
