The names of the Azerbaijani judokas who will participate in the international multi-sport games BRICS Sports Games Kazan 2024 in Kazan, the capital of Tatarstan, have been announced.
Idman.biz reports that Azerbaijan team will be represented by 7 female and 7 male athletes in 14 weight categories in the competition to be held on June 21-22.
Coaching staff Ramila Aliyeva (48 kg), Nuray Guliyeva (52 kg), Nargiz Hajiyeva (57 kg), Leyla Huseynova (63 kg), Sudaba Aghayeva (70 kg), Narmin Amirli (78 kg), Nigar Suleymanova (+78 kg), Huseyn Allahyarov (60 kg), Rashad Yelkiyev (66 kg), Nariman Mirzayev (73 kg), Maharram Imamverdiyev (81 kg), Musa Huseynli (90 kg), Huseyn Dadashov (100 kg) and Jamal Feyziyev (+100) kg) will give a chance.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan national team has won 9 (2-3-4) medals in the competition that will end on June 24.
