The Azerbaijani national team won 1 medal on the first day of the European Cup among junior judokas.
Idman.biz reports that Khadija Abdullayeva was on the victory podium at the tournament held in Teplice, Czech Republic.
On the first day of the competition, 8 judokas competed in 4 weight classes. Among them, only Khadija Abdullayeva (40 kg) successfully performed and won silver. She lost to her Polish counterpart in the final.
It should be noted that yesterday 3 more of Azerbaijani judokas took 5th place.
