The teams from 48 countries in the “Grand Slam” competition to be held in Baku

The Organizing Committee of the "Grand Slam" judo tournament to be held in Baku on September 22-24 continues to receive applications from participating teams.

According to İdman.biz, teams from 48 countries have expressed their intention to participate in the ranking tournament, which will be hosted by the National Gymnastics Arena. Among them are USA, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Japan, Venezuela, Belgium, Finland, Cyprus, Chile, Colombia, Serbia, Great Britain, Poland, New Zealand, Poland, Romania, Spain, Saudi Arabia and many other countries.

The hosts of the tournament have not announced their team yet. The German national team has by far the most representation. Bundesteam plans to bring 23 athletes to Baku.
