The format of the 30th Azerbaijan Handball Championship has been announced.
İdman.biz informs that 13 teams will compete in the jubilee season, 7 of which are men and 6 are women.
The men's 20-round race consisting of 4 rounds will take place in two stages. In the 14 rounds that will cover the preliminary stage, the teams will meet each other twice. In the second stage, the first 4 teams and teams ranked 5-7 will face each other twice in the round robin system.
Women's handball players will also compete with the same system in the first round, which will consist of 10 rounds, and in the second round, which will include 6 more rounds. In the decisive games of the competition, the teams that have settled in the "first four" and the owners of the 5th-6th places will clarify the issue.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan Championship will start on November 9 with the women's match between "Azeryol" and "Youth Union". The men's match will begin on November 11 with the match between "Sports Academy" and "Dinamo".
