The final squad of Azerbaijan’s women’s handball team for the VI Islamic Solidarity Games, to be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, has been announced.
According to Idman.Biz, citing the Azerbaijan Handball Federation, head coach Aleksandr Revva will lead the team, which includes Alyona Barbakadze, Azaliya Hesenova, Dinara Suleymanova, Elnare Ibrahimova, Gunel Aliyeva, Irane Shukurova, Irina Mikhalkovich, Kamile Bayramova, Lyubov Rasulova, Marta Abbasova, Mehpare Aliyeva, Rena Hesenova, Sabina Smagina, Sakine Musayeva, Ulviye Sharifova, and Yelizaveta Salimova.
The tournament will take place from November 13-21, and Azerbaijan will face Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Qatar in Group B.
