The Azerbaijani team reached the finals in group exercises at the World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship held in Valencia.
According İdman.biz, the group consisting of Laman Alimuradova, Gullu Aghalarzadeh, Elizaveta Luzan, and Zeynab Hummatova advanced from the sixth place to the finals, having scored 32,200 points for moving with three ribbons and two balls.
In the all-around, the team was 9th, having scored 63,900 points in the sum of two compositions.
Bulgaria, China, Spain, Israel, Ukraine, Mexico and Japan teams will perform in the finals of this exercise, which will take place on August 27.
Today, on August 26, the all-around final will be held in the individual competition. The leader of the Azerbaijani team, Zohra Aghamirova, who showed the twelfth result in the qualifying round and won the Olympic license, will take part here.
