The rhythmic gymnastics group that achieved success at the 32nd Summer World University Games held in Germany has returned to Baku.
The gymnasts were welcomed at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport by representatives of the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation, fellow athletes, and family members, Idman.biz reports.
The team concluded the Universiade with three medals. The group, consisting of Gullu Aghalarzada, Laman Alimuradova, Darya Sorokina, Yelyzaveta Luzan, and Kamilla Aliyeva, claimed two gold and one silver medal across different routines.
This marks the first-ever success for our gymnasts in team events in the history of the Universiade.
